(I wanted to cut out the background so I went on to the next step, but with the part I wanted selected I could have just copied it and pasted it onto another picture. Or I could have copied and pasted it onto a new used a style and beveled it then merged the layers. Or gone crazy and used one of the various filters and it artsy looking or even quilted. But I did not, I wanted to just cut out the background.)
